School Sustainability
Investing in a child’s education gives a high return on that initial investment. We agree with Nelson Mandela who said, “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use the change the world.” When we invest in a child’s education, those are building blocks for change. Villages with educated citizens have less poverty, better health care, and people who think creatively about solutions to problems. Schools are where children receive education, but schools are often underfunded and therefore unable to provide a quality learning environment. ACEF believes in resourcing schools to provide a sustainable educational experience for all children.
Our School Sustainability Program focuses on SDA School in Ankaase, Ghana. There are 495 children enrolled in Kindergarten through Grade 8 in this village school.
