laptops for learning
How did you learn to use a computer?
Probably by sitting in front of one and clicking the mouse and typing on the keyboard. The children in SDA School in Ankaase are learning computers (a course they are required to take), but until October 2012, the school had no computers. The Information and Technology course was taught with chalk and board. ACEF started the Laptops for Learning project to resource SDA School with a computer lab for students. We delivered six laptops, modem, and projector to the school with a promise that we would continue to build the lab until we had at least 30 computers, printers, and one more projector.
